Resumo: On December 31, 2019, the World Health Organization (WHO) was informed of cases of pneumonia of unknown etiology detected in the city of Wuhan, Hubei province, China, which was subsequently recognized as an infectious disease caused by the new coronavirus (COVID-19). Therefore, it is necessary to understand autoimmune diseases, which occur due to the malfunction of the immune system due to numerous etiologies, with the destruction of healthy tissues and cells, generating greater susceptibility to infections and generating several autoimmune diseases that can be triggered by COVID-19. Objectives: Understand the emergence of autoimmune diseases after becoming ill with covid-19, describe the main autoimmune diseases after covid-19, describe the Systematization of Nursing Care in autoimmune diseases after covid19, and understand the role of nurses in assisting autoimmune diseases post covid-19. Methodology: This was a bibliographical, exploratory, qualitative research that was carried out using the database: Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE), Virtual Health Library (VHL). Searches were carried out for articles published in the period 2020 – 2023. Results and discussion: It has been demonstrated that nursing has a fundamental role in the care of patients with post-covid-19 autoimmune diseases, in this sense, it requires preparation for this. Conclusion: The need for a nursing team prepared to monitor patients who manifest some type of post-covid-19 autoimmune disease is concluded, in order to observe possible neurological, motor and respiratory changes in these patients. Another important factor is the intervention of the multidisciplinary team, as it minimizes sequelae and favors the patient's recovery.
