Resumo: | Happiness at work has been linked to positive outcomes associated with mental health and productivity. Studies on the subject are still expanding. However, they need more confluence and agreement. In this research, we explore the perceptions about experiences of happiness in the work of public servants of a public higher education institution. The qualitative research used the semi-structured interview that was applied to twelve servers. Data analysis was performed using Iramuteq Software, through Descending Hierarchical Classification and Correspondence Factor Analysis. The results identified that the participants perceived happiness at work through four main pillars: physical and safety conditions in the work environment, interpersonal relationships at work, relevance attributed to the nature of work, and professional identity. It was concluded that the meanings given to work by those who perform it are decisive for the development of recurring feelings of happiness at work. |

Os estudos acerca do tema ainda estão em expansão. Contudo, necessitam de mais confluência e concordância. Nessa pesquisa exploramos as percepções sobre vivências de felicidade no trabalho de servidores públicos de uma instituição de ensino superior pública. A pesquisa qualitativa utilizou a entrevista semiestruturada que foi aplicada em doze servidores. A análise de dados foi realizada pelo Software Iramuteq, por meio da Classificação Hierárquica Descendente e Análise Fatorial por Correspondência. Os resultados identificaram que os participantes perceberam a felicidade no trabalho através de quatro pilares principais: condições físicas e de segurança no ambiente de trabalho, relacionamento interpessoal no trabalho, relevância atribuída à natureza do trabalho, e identidade profissional.
