Resumo: The use of floral therapy in oncology hospitals has gained attention as a complementary intervention for cancer patients. Although evidence is still limited, preliminary findings suggest that floral therapy has the potential as a supportive approach in the holistic care of cancer patients. Objective: To investigate the contribution of therapeutic intervention using floral essences in oncology. The aim was also to assess the effectiveness of floral treatments in the context of oncology treatment. Methodology: This is a literature review with data searches on platforms such as "PubMed" (National Library of Medicine), "Google Scholar," "Scielo" (Scientific Electronic Library Online), and "Pepsic" (Electronic Journals in Psychology). Results: Therapeutic intervention using floral essences in oncology has shown promise as a complementary approach in the treatment of cancer patients. Conclusion: Floral therapy can be a beneficial complement to basic medical treatment for oncology patients. The treatment is safe and has no side effects. It is essential for healthcare professionals to consider floral therapy as an integral part of a multidisciplinary approach in oncology care, aiming to improve the quality of life and overall well-being of patients.

Embora as evidências ainda sejam limitadas, descobertas preliminares sugerem que a terapia floral possui potencial como abordagem de suporte no cuidado holístico de pacientes com câncer. Objetivo: Verificar a contribuição da intervenção terapêutica do uso das essências florais em oncologia. Buscou-se também avaliar a eficácia dos tratamentos florais   diante do tratamento em oncologia. Metodologia: Trata-se de uma revisão bibliográfica com as buscas de dados nas plataformas “PubMed” instalada na (National Library of Medicine) “Google Acadêmico”, “Scielo” (Scientific Electronic Library Online) e “Pepsic (Periódicos Eletrõnicos em Psicologia). Resultados: A intervenção terapêutica do uso das essências florais em oncologia mostrou-se promissora como uma abordagem complementar no tratamento de pacientes com câncer. Conclusão: A terapia floral pode ser um complemento benéfico ao tratamento médico básico para pacientes oncológicos. O tratamento é seguro e não tem efeitos colaterais.
