Resumo: This paper critically debates the accepted historical exhaustion of the taylorism. The main purpose is to argue that, after more than a century from its introduction, the control methods of the scientific administration were improved, modernized and transformed in a way, that it seems historically abandoned. Contrarily, the rapid diffusion of electronic security systems in the corporative world represents a concrete evidence of the persistence of taylorist forms of control that, transmuted, assume a new shape on this new technical and productive paradigm.

Pretende apontar que, passados praticamente 100 anos desde sua difusão inicial, as formas de controle propostas pela administração científica foram aprimoradas, modernizadas e transformadas a tal ponto que parecem superadas historicamente.
