The Socio-Educational Process in the Solidary Economy Movements and the Role of the University

Resumo: The theme of the article is the analysis of the social-educational process that occurs as a result of the participation of individuals and groups in solidarity economy movements and the contribution of the university in this process, through university extension projects. Thus, as an object of study presents a project of university extension in low-income sector in the Grande ABC Paulista. Three questions assisted in this analysis, they are: 1. The solidarity economy movements enable the development of the sense of citizenship of those who participate in them? 2. What are the characteristics of the social-educational process in these solidarity economic movements? 3. The action of the university accelerates the social-educational process of individual and groups participating in the solidarity economy movement? Thus, one of the objectives of the article was to understand the characteristics of the movements of the solidarity economy, specifically with regard to socio-educational processes present in such movements and to characterize the university involvement. The investigation sees the university as a possible subject present in these processes. In developing this analysis, the paper aims to develop an understanding of the contribution of the university to the learning process inherent to participation in the movement. The analysis was based on the concepts of solidarity economy, the process of individual and group learning and emancipatory education. We used a qualitative research method called action research. This method enables the researcher's participation both in decision making about the reality and the subsequent reflection on the process occurred and the consequent production of scientific knowledge about the process. The results showed that the entrepreneurs who participated in the extension project acquired knowledge and concepts necessary to manage their investments and might perceive themselves as active subjects in the process of strengthening the solidarity economy. The participants oriented on this discussion, also concluded about the possibility of mobilization and participation in public spaces with their difficulties and benefit.

Por lo tanto, como objeto de estudio presenta un proyecto de extensión universitaria en el sector de bajos ingresos en el Grande ABC Paulista. Tres preguntas atendidas en este análisis, que son: 1. Los movimientos de economía solidaria permiten el desarrollo del sentido de la ciudadanía de quienes participan en ellos? 2. ¿Cuáles son las características del proceso socio-educativo en  movimientos de economía solidaria? 3. La acción de la universidad acelera el proceso socio- educativo de los individuos y los grupos que participan en el movimiento de la economía solidaria? Por lo tanto, un objetivo de este artículo es comprender las características de los movimientos de economía solidaria, en concreto en lo que respecta a los procesos socio- educativos presentes en este tipo de movimientos. Buscamos también para caracterizar la participación de la universidad, viéndolo como un posible tema presente en estos procesos. En la elaboración de este análisis, el documento tiene como objetivo desarrollar una comprensión de la contribución de la universidad al proceso de aprendizaje inherente a la participación en el movimiento. El análisis se basa en los conceptos de la economía solidaria, el proceso de aprendizaje individual y grupal y la educación emancipadora. Se utilizó un método de investigación cualitativa llamada investigación-acción. Este método permite la participación de los investigadores, tanto en la toma de decisiones sobre la realidad y la reflexión posterior sobre y la consiguiente producción de conocimiento científico sobre el proceso. Los resultados mostraron que los empresarios que participaron en el proyecto logrado ampliar los conocimientos y los conceptos necesarios para la gestión de sus inversiones y podría percibirse a sí mismos como sujetos activos en el proceso de fortalecimiento de la economía solidaria. Con base en esta discusión también concluyó sobre la posibilidad de movilización y participación en el espacio público con sus dificultades y beneficios.O tema do artigo é a análise do processo socioeducativo presente que ocorre como resultado da participação de pessoas e grupos em movimentos de economia solidária e da contribuição da universidade nesse processo, por meio de projetos de extensão universitária. Destarte, apresenta como objeto de estudo um projeto de extensão universitária em setor de baixa renda, na região do Grande ABC Paulista.  Três indagações auxiliaram nessa análise, são elas: 1. Os movimentos de economia solidária possibilitam o desenvolvimento da consciência de cidadania daqueles que neles participam? 2. Quais as características do processo socioeducativo presente em movimentos de economia solidária? 3. A ação da universidade acelera o processo socioeducativo dos indivíduos e grupos que participam no movimento de economia solidária? Dessa forma, um dos objetivos do artigo foi a compreensão das características dos movimentos de economia solidária, especificamente no que diz respeito aos processos socioeducativos presentes em tais movimentos.  Buscou, também, caracterizar a participação da universidade, enxergando-a como um possível sujeito presente nesses processos. Ao desenvolver tal análise, o artigo pretendeu chegar a uma compreensão sobre a contribuição da universidade ao processo socioeducativo inerente à participação no movimento. A análise baseou-se nos conceitos de economia solidária, processo de aprendizagem individual e grupal e educação emancipadora. Foi utilizado um método qualitativo de pesquisa denominado pesquisa-ação. Esse método possibilita a participação do pesquisador tanto na tomada de decisão sobre a realidade como a posterior reflexão sobre o processo ocorrido e consequente produção de conhecimento científico sobre o processo. Os resultados apontaram que os empreendedores que participaram no projeto de extensão adquiriram conhecimentos e conceitos necessários para a gestão de seus empreendimentos e puderam perceber-se como sujeitos ativos no processo de fortalecimento da economia solidária.
