Resumo: | This thesis is intended to investigate the identity’s construction process and the on-line subjectivities of the young woman that are evangelical youtubers, as individuals in digital network, seeking to understand, inside of the relations between religion and digital medias (youtube platform), the transformation process of the christians’ conservatism in a new way of being Christian in Brazil, recognized in this thesis as fluid conservatism. The search anchors itselfs in videos published by youtubers that has more followers in the youtube’s plataform and calls itselfs as Christians. The Hypothesis is that these young woman articulate speeachs that builds this new way of being Christian. This Subjectivities was initiated in the Christian’s context as a “new way” to promove the religious doctrine of conservative basis. From this phenomenon could be emerged a new space of influence and readjustment related with the practices in ownership the subject’s symbolic that interact with those digital influencers’ speeach. The research’s theoretical framework is based on concepts of subjectivities and identity’s construction process, relating them to theoris about communication processes using social medias in dialog with interfaces medias/religion and gender/religion. To talk about social digital network, the concepts are based in the medias’ speech related with the contemporary subject. The methodological proposal to apply the theoretical grounding is the qualitative data analysis associated to discourse analysis of French line. The content analysis will contributed to quantify the terms’ occurrence, quotes with religious content, keywords that indicates ideological marks present in the youtubers’ speech. Using the discourse analysis will be possible to think the ideology, since that the materiality is the discourse, and the materiality of the discourse is the language. In this process, will be verified how the meaning’s effects are generated by statements, to mention: the language used by the youtubers, not only the verbal one, but also the sign language, intonation, the scenic and the music used. To this end, were chosen as object of study five women, that work on youtube and identify themselves as Christians and also are the most followed ones. They are: Priscilla Alcântara, Maju Trindade, Fabiola Melo, Rayza Nicácio e Farkile. As a result, the research comprises fluid conservatism, a process of change in the language and behavior of evangelicals that still has relevant and strong aspects of what is understood by protestant tradition, identified as a new phase of religious conservatism. |

As a result, the research comprises fluid conservatism, a process of change in the language and behavior of evangelicals that still has relevant and strong aspects of what is understood by protestant tradition, identified as a new phase of religious conservatism. Submitted by Noeme Timbo (noeme.timbo@metodista.br) on 2021-03-25T16:03:25Z No. of bitstreams: 1 Patricia Garcia Costa2.pdf: 3181016 bytes, checksum: 6df36480e08a6f89b7988b15674ebc32 (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2021-03-25T16:03:25Z (GMT).
