From Friedrich Hayek's theory, we set out to demonstrate where the notion of social justice coined in humanistic society has been lost until we arrive at a society of market order. In Chapter I, we try to present Hayek's personal formation and professional ascension very synthetically, as well as to present in a linear way his philosophical systematization of neoliberal civilization. Chapter II was dedicated to deepening the struggle against social justice and its ramifications in its theory. In Chapter III we try to demonstrate that, based on Girard's theory, the only way to satisfy violence in neoliberal society is through the sacrifice of scapegoats. From exploration of the desire for consumption, the market's operating mechanism excludes people who are unable to participate in the game, who pass from victims to culprits for incompetence. The result is that their misery (and death) is seen as a necessary and just sacrifice. However, Liberation Theology denounces: it is not a question of sacrifice, but of murder! We understand that understanding the process that culminates in the loss of this logic and, consequently, in social passivity in the face of death, can be an important step in the reestablishment of communication between the different groups responsible for the elaboration of public policies.
