Robô colaborativo em montagem de motores: uma abordagem socioeconômica do avanço tecnológico em manufatura

Resumo: Industry 4.0 enabling technologies, such as cloud data storage, autonomous robot, additive manufacturing, augmented reality, and internet of things, are increasingly being adopted by Brazilian industries. One of these technologies, the collaborative robot or cobot, has great potential for expansion, due to its application in a manufacturing environment sharing space with humans, offering a reduction in operating costs, a safer work environment, mainly for reducing risks. ergonomics and product quality gains. The general objective of this dissertation was to evaluate the economic and social gains, with a focus on the reduction of ergonomic risk and gains in quality, with the implementation of the cobot in the engine assembly process. The work presents a case study in an engine assembly company. Observation of the assembly process was carried out to carry out data collection, in addition to analysis of technical reports and interviews with managers. The method used allowed analyzing the advantages of implementing the cobot. The results indicated that the cobot integrated in the manufacturing process is advantageous for the industry. The project showed a reduction of R$208,012.80 in operating costs per year, and the return on invested capital was 1 year and 9 months. The guarantee of performing torque in the correct sequence was another important gain for product quality, in which there was a reduction in the PFMEA risk score from 196 to 56. In addition, the reduction in the ergonomic risk score from 24 to 10 provided a better work environment for the operator, avoiding possible absences. The theoretical contribution of this research was focused on offering a work not yet found in the literature on economic, social and quality advantages with the application of cobot in engine assembly process. As a contribution to corporate practice, this study aims to encourage industrial managers to seek opportunities for cobot application within the manufacturing process.

Uma destas tecnologias, o robô colaborativo ou cobot, tem grande potencial de expansão, pelo fato da aplicação em ambiente de manufatura compartilhando o espaço com o ser humano, oferecendo redução de custos operacionais, ambiente de trabalho mais seguro, principalmente para a redução de riscos ergonômicos e ganhos de qualidade do produto. O objetivo geral desta dissertação foi avaliar os ganhos econômicos, sociais, com foco na redução de risco ergonômico e ganhos em qualidade, com a implementação do cobot em processo de montagem de motores. O trabalho apresenta um estudo de caso em uma empresa de montagem de motores. Foi realizada a observação do processo de montagem para realização da coleta de dados, além de análise de relatórios técnicos e entrevistas com gestores. O método utilizado permitiu analisar as vantagens da implementação do cobot. Os resultados indicaram que o cobot integrado no processo de manufatura é vantajoso para a indústria. O projeto apresentou uma redução de R$208.012,80 de custo operacional por ano, e o retorno sobre o capital investido foi de 1 ano e 9 meses. A garantia de realizar o torque na sequência correta foi outro ganho importante para a qualidade do produto, na qual ocorreu uma redução na pontuação de risco do PFMEA de 196 para 56. Além disso, a redução da pontuação de risco ergonômico de 24 para 10 proporcionou um melhor ambiente de trabalho para o operador, evitando possíveis afastamentos. A contribuição teórica desta pesquisa teve como foco oferecer um trabalho ainda não encontrado na literatura sobre vantagens econômicas, sociais e de qualidade com a aplicação de cobot em processo de montagem de motores.
