Ciclomobilidade em São Paulo: avaliação do entorno do centro cultural da juventude

Inserted in the wide urban universe, bicycles, cyclists and their concept of transportation, identified as cyclomobility, have a history of fundamental integration in the development of sustainable and smart cities. In the contemporary context of large cities, it is essential to encourage themes on the sustainability of cities together with the paradigms of new mobility, striving for innovation on issues involving the dispute for urban space and equity in the use of the city. Generating opportunities and equal access to and right to the city by all inhabitants. In this way, this dissertation reinforces the relevance of the right to the city of cyclists and their bicycles and has the general objective of analyzing the use of cyclomobility around the Cultural Youth Center [CCJ] Ruth Cardoso, located in the northern region of the city of São Paulo, considered the greatest municipal public instrument in the training of young people in the region. The descriptive and exploratory methodology with a qualitative approach, will lead the theme of cyclomobility, using the proposed study to analyze the data obtained by the method called “participant observation”, applied in the environment that comprises access routes to the Cultural Center. The synthesis of the researcher's conclusions regarding cyclomobility and its impacts in the surroundings of the studied site demonstrates the importance of expanding the infrastructure to support this healthy transport mode for the cultural formation of young CCJ visitors and other inhabitants of the region who integrate socially and culturally the transformation of the place.
