Resumo: The dissertation brings results of research carried out that had as its theme the importance of speech in the development of children. It started from the conviction that speech operates thought and that when speech is well systematized, a well-systematized thought with diverse repercussions operates. The research had as main problem to find out which ways to follow in the school education so that the children can have voice (the speech) in the course of the classes, since the habitual one is the unique presence of the speech of the teacher or of the teacher and, in the best one of the hypotheses, the predominance of this speech. It was tried to answer this question: how to free the voice of the children? As a result of this, other questions have been put on the importance of speech in human life and on the role of speech in the development of good thinking, and also on what to understand by thinking well and on the role of dialogue in its development. An experiment was carried out with fifth graders from a public school in which they were motivated to participate in activities in which their lines would play a key role. Students who came from an experience of little or no speech in classes that they had in the first years of schooling. What was obtained in the research indicates positive answers to the questions posed above: speech is fundamental in human development and is a fundamental factor for the development of good thinking. The results made it possible to present some indications of possible actions to be taken in classes, especially in Elementary School, which can effectively release the students' speech to be added to the always necessary speech of the teachers and the teachers.

Se parti?? de la convicci??n de que el habla opera el pensamiento y de que cuando el habla es bien sistematizada, opera un pensamiento tambi??n bien sistematizado con repercusiones diversas. La investigaci??n tuvo como problema central buscar saber qu?? caminos seguir en la educaci??n escolar para que los ni??os puedan tener voz (el habla) en el curso de las clases, ya que lo acostumbrado es la presencia ??nica del habla de la profesora o del profesor y, en la mejor de las , el predominio de este habla. Se busc?? responder a esta pregunta: ??c??mo liberar la voz de los ni??os? A ra??z de esta, otras preguntas se plantearon acerca de la importancia del habla en la vida humana y sobre el papel del habla en el desarrollo del pensar bien y, a??n, sobre qu?? entender por pensar bien y sobre el papel del di??logo en su desarrollo. Se realiz?? una experiencia con alumnos de quintos a??os de una escuela p??blica en la que fueron motivados a participar en actividades en las que sus discursos tendr??an un papel fundamental. Alumnos que ven??an de una vivencia de poca o ninguna habla en clases que tuvieron en los primeros a??os de escolarizaci??n. Lo que se obtuvo en la investigaci??n indica respuestas positivas a las preguntas planteadas arriba: el habla es fundamental en el desarrollo humano y es factor fundamental para el desarrollo del pensamiento bien. Los resultados posibilitaron presentar algunas indicaciones de posibles acciones a ser realizadas en clases, especialmente de la Ense??anza Fundamental, que puedan efectivamente liberar el habla de los alumnos a ser sumada a la siempre necesaria habla de las profesoras y de los profesores.A disserta????o traz resultados de pesquisa realizada que teve como tema a import??ncia da fala no desenvolvimento das crian??as. A pesquisa teve como problema central buscar saber que caminhos seguir na educa????o escolar para que as crian??as possam ter voz (a fala) no decorrer das aulas, j?? que o costumeiro ?? a presen??a ??nica da fala da professora ou do professor e, na melhor das hip??teses, o predom??nio desta fala. Buscou-se responder a esta pergunta: como libertar a voz das crian??as? Decorrentes desta, perguntas outras foram postas a respeito da import??ncia da fala na vida humana e sobre o papel da fala no desenvolvimento do pensar bem e, ainda, sobre o que entender por pensar bem e sobre o papel do di??logo no seu desenvolvimento. Foi realizada uma experi??ncia com alunos de quintos anos de uma escola p??blica na qual eles foram motivados a participarem de atividades nas quais suas falas teriam um papel fundamental. Alunos que vinham de uma viv??ncia de pouca ou nenhuma fala em aulas que tiveram nos primeiros anos de escolariza????o. O que foi obtido na pesquisa indica respostas positivas ??s perguntas colocadas acima: a fala ?? fundamental no desenvolvimento humano e ?? fator fundamental para o desenvolvimento do pensar bem.
