Resumo: The architecture of the Modern Movement at an international level and in the regional context of Latin America, constitutes a reference for the study of spatial solutions and the role played by the envelope in the interior-exterior relationship of any local architecture. This article offers the results of the study of an intentional sample of apartment buildings of the Modern Movement in the historic center of Camagüey, which provide their own solutions based on the assimilation of the postulates of the international Modern Movement. The spatial characteristics of the Modern Movement apartment buildings in the historic center of Camagüey, which define them, are exposed, and reflections are made on the subjective perception and assessment of its inhabitants.
