Resumo: | The contribution of this work is to conceive the samba circles of the Brazilian Federal District as a territorial-heritage, as a transforming fact of the territory and that contributes to an interpretation of the Brazilian socio-spatial formation. Both concepts, territorial-heritage and socio-spatial formation, are not static. They represent space in movement, in a way that contribute to an objective and concrete interpretation of reality. Therefore, in order to effect such construction, we seek to treat, theoretically and empirically, the Brazilian socio-spatial formation as an interpretive concept of transformations in the territory and the territorial-heritage as a resignification of popular culture and symbol of resistance, based on the samba dancers. This methodological-geographic positioning contributes to the recognition of some samba circles in the Brazilian Federal District as black spatial resistance and, consequently, as Latin American territorial-heritage |
