Patrimonials utopisms, urban discourses and hermeneutics: conceptual and method approaches

Resumo: To support ongoing research, we propose the discussion of some ways to conceptualize an investigation in Geography, which uses philosophical hermeneutics as a method. The thesis has as its theme the interpretation of the urban-urbanistic discourse produced about Brasília, based on the writings of some professors at the University of Brasília, who work in Urbanism and Urban Geography. Initially, some approximations are made to the delineating concepts of the topic and the inquiry hypothesis – Brasília utopia and patrimonials utopisms. Then, some guidelines, derived from philosophical hermeneutics, are presented to the debate, which should guide the operation of the methodology. The purpose of the argument is to manage construing a set of strategies to be adopted as a posture towards the texts that will be interpreted, to reach the desired hermeneutic situation for the study.

La tesis tiene como tema la interpretación del discurso urbano-urbanístico producido sobre Brasilia, a partir del trabajo de algunos profesores investigadores de la Universidad de Brasilia, actuando en Urbanismo y Geografía Urbana. Inicialmente, se realizan algunas aproximaciones a los conceptos delimitadores del tema y de la hipótesis de investigación – la utopía de Brasilia y los utopismos patrimoniales. Luego, se presentan al debate algunas pautas derivadas de la hermenéutica filosófica, que deben orientar la aplicación del método. La discusión tiene como objetivo orientar la construcción de un conjunto de estrategias a ser adoptadas como postura frente a los textos que serán interpretados, a fin de se lograr la situación hermenéutica deseada para la realización del estudio.Para fundamentar pesquisa em andamento, propõe-se a discussão de alguns caminhos para conceitualizar uma investigação em Geografia, que se apropria da hermenêutica filosófica como método.   A tese tem por temática a interpretação do discurso urbano-urbanístico produzido sobre Brasília, a partir da obra escrita de alguns professores(as) pesquisadores(as) da Universidade de Brasília, atuantes em Urbanismo e Geografia Urbana. Inicialmente, são realizadas algumas aproximações aos conceitos delineadores do tema e da hipótese da pesquisa – utopia Brasília e utopismos patrimoniais. Em seguida, são apresentadas ao debate algumas diretrizes derivadas da hermenêutica filosófica, que deverão conduzir a operação do método.
