Resumo: This text deals with the contribution that the production of didactic and pedagogical materials has in the cultural and territorial reaffirmation of indigenous peoples, in this case, the Apyãwa people, resident in the state of Mato Grosso. The center of interests rests on the potential that indigenous teachers, together with the community, have for the construction of products and artifacts that materialize cultural diversity and historical-cultural traditions characteristic of places and people. The specific and differentiated materials, elaborated by the community and worked on in the school, express the reality experienced by all.

El enfoque principal se centra en el potencial que tienen los profesores indígenas, junto con la comunidad, para la construcción de productos y artefactos que materialicen la diversidad cultural y las tradiciones histórico-culturales propias de los lugares y pueblos. Los materiales específicos y diferenciados, elaborados por la comunidad y trabajados en la escuela, expresan la realidad vivida por todos.   Palabras clave: Materiales didácticos. Saber Indígena.Este texto trata da contribuição que a produção de materiais didáticos e pedagógicos tem na reafirmação cultural e territorial dos povos indígenas, neste caso, o povo Apyãwa, residente no estado de Mato Grosso. O centro dos interesses repousa sobre as potencialidades que professores indígenas, juntamente com a comunidade possuem para a construção dos produtos e artefatos que materializam a diversidade cultural e as tradições histórico-culturais características dos lugares e do povo.
