Resumo: This paper presents a conception of a psycho - dynamic oriented children brief psychotherapy. Itstarts with the outline of adults brief psychotherapies to define the children brief psychotherapy as centered on the "psychlcmutuality area" (Cramer, 1974). A differentiation has been established between children brief psychotherapy and family therapies, when alI the therapeutlc strategles look for the functioning of the group as whole. The concluslon was that the differences between them aplly to strategies of interventions rather than theoretical issues.

Parte do delineamento das psicoterapias breves de adultos para definir a psicoterapia breve infantil como centrada da “área de mutualidade psíquica” (Cramer, 1974). Procede-se ainda à diferenciação das psicoterapias breves infantis das terapias familiares, em que toda a estratégia terapêutica visa o funcionamento do grupo como um todo.
