Brazilian Bibliometrics: coword analysis

Resumo: The analysis of 6,180 documents produced and published on Brazilian bibliometrics up to December 2018 were realized. To collect the documents, titles, keywords, and abstracts were searched using different languages and Boolean combinations of documents indexed in bibliographic databases. These documents used 6,307 distinct keywords, of which 4,215 were used only once and one-word (Scientific production) 1,054 times. The analysis of the keywords identified in the 6,180 documents was done using the MPA (Associated Words Method) package from R programming language. The co-word analysis as a technique allowed to identify the thematic concerns of Brazilian bibliometrics. A maturing field of study clearly linked to the field of information science, which has its center of analysis in indexing and documentary language. It also identified the central subject of management and accounting research with poor links to marketing and science & technology.

Para a coletados documentos, fez-se busca nos títulos, palavras-chave e resumos usando diferentes idiomas e combinações booleanas dosdocumentos indexados em bases de dados bibliográficas. Os documentos coletados usaram 6.307 palavras-chave distintas, sendo que 4.215 delas foram utilizadas uma única vez e uma só palavra (Produção cientifica) 1.054 vezes. A análise das copalavras identificadas nos 6.180 documentos se fez utilizando o pacote MPA (Método das Palavras Associadas) da linguagem R, que, como técnica de análise, permitiu identificar as principais temáticas da bibliometria brasileira. Um campo de estudo em amadurecimento claramente ligado ao campo da Ciência da Informação, que tem seu centro de análise estruturado na indexação e na linguagem documentária.
