Focus on the Provisional Measures numbers 143 to 173, and Decrees numbers 99. 177 to 99. 183, published between the 15th and 17th of March, 1990. Researchcarriedout between the 23rd and 30th of March, of the same year, among629 professorsandstudentsof saidUniversity.Questionnairewith open andclosedquestionsallow thesubjectsto state their position as to the validity of the Plan; demonstrate the leveI of their knowledge of the new measures; predict its acceptance or not by the National Congress, and give their opinion about the levels at which lhe Plan'hasinterferred in their own lives.

Enfoque sobre as Medidas Provisóriasn'?'748 a 773 e os Decretos n'?'99.777 a 99. 784, divulgados entre 75 a 78 de março de 7990. Pesquisa realizada entre os dias 23 e 30 de março de mesmo ano, entre 629 universittJriose professores, universittJrios da UFPI,utilizando-se, como instrumento de coleta de dados, questiontJriomisto. Este permitiu que os respondentes se posicionassem quanto à validade do Plano; demonstrassem o nlvel de conhecimento das novas medidas/decretos; antecipassem sua aceitação ou não pelo Congresso Nacional,opinassem sobre o grau de interfer(jncia das medidas em suas vidas e sobre os possfveis beneficiados com o Plano. Dentre os resultados mais significativos, esttJ a constatação do apoio, integrale/ouparcial,aoconjunto demedidas,por84,26 %dos entrevistados. A MedidaProvisórian'!768, referente ao bloqueio do dinheiro de poupadores e especuladores, aparece como a mais pol(jmica. Umpercentual de 87,72 prev(j a aprovação das Medidas, com modificações, pelo Congresso e 64,71 % dos acad(jmicos na condição de congressistas, também as aprovariam,parcialmente. Grandeparte dos pesquisados -29,40% ., acredita que a sociedade brasileiraseria o maior beneficiado do novo pacote econômico.
