INTELLIGENCE FOR EVERYONE? : SOCIAL RISKS IN THE CONTEXT OF SMART CITIES

Resumo: | The relevance of cities to socioeconomic development makes it crucial that Smart Cities be developed. The transition from traditional to intelligent cities has become a strategic initiative addressed by modern economic systems, which encompasses countless cities around the world. Although the risks caused by the Implementation of Intelligent Cities have literary contribution and have classifications, the risks related to the society that make up the intelligent cities are still neglected and mentioned superficially by many authors. In this sense, this Systematic Review of Literature turns to the literature of the last ten years in order to elucidate the social risks caused by the implementation of intelligent cities. The study allowed the identification of 15 social risks related to the individual's quality of life, safety, representation, social rights and accessibility and provided several insights for future research. |

La transición de las ciudades tradicionales a las inteligentes se ha convertido en una iniciativa estratégica abordada por los sistemas económicos modernos, que abarca numerosas ciudades de todo el mundo. Aunque los riesgos causados por la implementación de Smart Cities tienen insumos literarios y tienen clasificaciones, los riesgos relacionados con la sociedad que conforman las ciudades inteligentes todavía son descuidados y mencionados superficialmente por muchos autores. En este sentido, esta Revisión Sistemática de la Literatura recurre a la literatura de los últimos diez años con el fin de dilucidar los riesgos sociales causados por la implementación de ciudades inteligentes. El estudio permitió la identificación de 15 riesgos sociales relacionados con la calidad de vida, la seguridad, la representatividad, los derechos sociales y la accesibilidad del individuo, y proporcionó varias ideas para futuras investigaciones. A relevância das cidades para o desenvolvimento socioeconômico torna crucial que Cidades Inteligentes sejam desenvolvidas. A transição de cidades tradicionais para inteligentes tornou-se uma iniciativa estratégica abordada pelos sistemas econômicos modernos, a qual engloba inúmeras cidades ao redor do mundo. Embora os riscos ocasionados pelas Implementação de Cidades Inteligentes tenham aporte literário e possua classificações, os riscos relacionados à sociedade que compõem as cidades inteligentes ainda são negligenciados e mencionados de forma superficial por muitos autores. Neste sentido, esta Revisão Sistemática da Literatura volta-se para a literatura dos últimos dez anos a fim de elucidar os riscos sociais ocasionados pela implementação de cidades inteligentes. O estudo permitiu a identificação de 15 riscos sociais relacionados à qualidade de vida do indivíduo, segurança, representatividade, direitos sociais e acessibilidade e forneceu diversos insights para pesquisas futuras.
