Resumo: | Abstract: in this article we develop a study of Maya, a novel by Ursulino Leão, a work which stands as a contemporary novel in which ideas are spread in several directions. We can notice, fictionalized in it, many aspects of existence such as freedom, death, loneliness, human wickedness, among other factors which are seized by phenomenological perception and by metaphysical intuition. Metaphysical perception.Resumo: faz-se, neste artigo, um estudo do romance Maya, de Ursulino Leão, que se afigura como uma obra contemporânea, na qual as ideias fervilham-se em variadas direções. Aparecem, nele ficcionalizados, os vários direcionamentos da existência como liberdade, morte, solidão, perversidade humana, entre outros fatores, que são apreendidos pela percepção fenomenológica e pela intuição metafísica.
