Abstract: childhood had its social place reconfigured several times during history, but always with the demarcation of subjection. There are still health, social assistance and school policies that are based on repressive practices that take childhood as the “problem” on which it is necessary to intervene. In this article, we discuss the care practices aimed at childhood health in the field of mental health, as well as the historical path of the emergence of childhood and its care. In order to arrive at a possible clinic in the field of mental health, we propose the questioning of the truths already put and, through the biographematic methodology, we write about other ways of working with children. We enter into the soil of mental health, care and network, in an attempt to experience a practice that can provide other paths for children's subjective expression and the liberation of crystallized identities.
