DEVELOPMENT OF TECHNOLOGICAL SKILLS: THE REMOTE SERVICE EMERGENCY AND THE DIFFICULTIES FACED BY ELDERLY FEDERAL CIVIL SERVANTS

Resumo: The research has as its general objective, with the aid of the PRISMA method in conducting a systematic review, to identify what actions the Federal Public Administration is promoting to develop the technological skills necessary to integrate elderly employees in the emergency remote service. To this end, articles in English language were analyzed in order to verify factors identified as challenges and difficulties in the use of technologies by elderly. The databases selected to collect the articles were Scielo, Scopus and Web of Science. The search terms were determined by combining the words ‘elderly’ and ‘technology’ and ‘difficulty’. The construction of the bibliographic portfolio was carried out systematically, a procedure that enabled the initial selection of 26 articles. The use of an Excel worksheet enabled the bibliometric analysis that generated the final selection of 18 articles. From the research, it was found that the actions promoted by the Federal Government are insufficient and do not consider the possible limitations of elderly workers. Alongside this, there is also a focus on acquiring technical knowledge for handling digital tools, but without creating environments that encourage skills and attitudes in this segment.

Para tanto, foram analisados artigos em língua inglesa, no intuito de verificar fatores apontados como desafios e dificuldades no uso de tecnologias por pessoas idosas. As bases de dados selecionadas para coleta dos artigos foram Scielo, Scopus e Web of Science. Foram determinados os termos de busca com a combinação das palavras ‘elderly’ and ‘technology’ and ‘difficulty’. A construção do portfólio bibliográfico foi realizada de forma sistematizada, procedimento que possibilitou a seleção inicial de 26 artigos. O uso de planilha do Excel viabilizou análise bibliométrica que gerou a seleção final de 18 artigos. Da pesquisa, constatou-se que as ações promovidas pelo Governo Federal são insuficientes e não consideram as possíveis limitações dos trabalhadores idosos.
