WOMAN, BLACK AND PROUNIST: PATHS TO A LIVABLE LIFE

Resumo: The present article is derived from the elaboration of the monograph for the conclusion of the undergraduate course in Psychology. In the development of the research, four semi-structured interviews were carried out with black women, undergraduate psychology students at PUC Minas and scholarship holders from the Universidade para Todos Program - Prouni. The participants were narrated their experiences of suffering from racism in the university context. The experience of everyday racism profoundly marks the lives of these black women in different, if not multiple, aspects of their lives. This racism is shown in the injustice in access to health, work and education. In the context of social justice, we recognize here the importance of affirmative measures, especially in education such as Prouni, a tool for the democratization of a well-lived life.

En el desarrollo de la investigación, se realizaron cuatro entrevistas semiestructuradas con mujeres negras, estudiantes de graduación en psicología de la PUC Minas y becarias del Programa Universidade para Todos - Prouni. A los participantes se les narraron sus experiencias de sufrimiento del racismo en el contexto universitario. La experiencia del racismo cotidiano marca profundamente la vida de estas mujeres negras en diferentes, si no múltiples, aspectos de sus vidas. Este racismo se manifiesta en la injusticia en el acceso a la salud, el trabajo y la educación. En el contexto de la justicia social, reconocemos aquí la importancia de las medidas afirmativas, especialmente en educación como el Prouni, herramienta para la democratización del buen vivir.O presente artigo é derivado da elaboração da monografia de conclusão do curso de graduação em Psicologia. No desenvolvimento da pesquisa foram realizadas quatro entrevistas semiestruturadas com mulheres negras, estudantes do curso de graduação em psicologia da PUC Minas e bolsistas do Programa Universidade para Todos - Prouni. As participantes narraram as suas experiências de sofrimento do racismo no contexto universitário. A experiência do racismo cotidiano marca profundamente a vida dessas mulheres negras de modo diverso, se não múltiplos aspectos de suas vidas. Esse racismo se mostra na injustiça no acesso à saúde, trabalho e educação.
