Resumo: | Hysteria holds a prominent place in the history of psychoanalytic clinic. Freud gave it the imprint of the Oedipus complex and of love for one’s own father as compasses for its listening. In turn, Lacan showed how these aspects are insufficient to address neurosis which, nowadays, bears the marks of capitalist discourse, and no longer responds to the father’s and Oedipus’ appeals. Rigid hysteria, presented in the context of the introduction of the Borromean knot, follows this orientation, as it shows the replacement of the father’s place in nodal terms, the symptom as a body event that goes beyond its decipherable face and, finally, of the phallus in the register of fallacy and verification of the effects of the Real. These are ways in which neurosis must be read today, aiming for the analyst’s interpretation to reach the speaking body to produce an event and not just a sense. |

A su vez, Lacan mostró como estos aspectos son insuficientes para abordar la neurosis que, hoy en día, lleva las marcas del discurso capitalista, y ya no responde a las apelaciones del padre y de Edipo. La histeria rígida, presentada en el contexto de la introducción del nudo borromeo, sigue esta orientación porque muestra la sustitución del lugar del padre en términos nodales, del síntoma como evento corporal que va más allá de su rostro descifrable y, finalmente, del falo en el registro de falacia y verificación de los efectos de lo Real. Son formas en las que la neurosis debe leerse hoy, con el objetivo de que la interpretación del analista llegue al cuerpo hablante para producir un evento y no solo un sentido. Por sua vez, Lacan mostrou como esses aspectos se mostram insuficientes para abordar a neurose que, na atualidade, traz as marcas do discurso capitalista e não responde mais aos apelos do pai e do Édipo. A histeria rígida, apresentada no contexto da introdução do nó borromeano, segue essa orientação, pois mostra a recolocação do lugar do pai em termos nodais, do sintoma como acontecimento de corpo que ultrapassa sua face decifrável e, por fim, do falo no registro da falácia e da verificação dos efeitos do real.
