Resumo: This study of a theoretical-bibliographic nature has as goal reflect about spirituality and optimism tragic in Viktor Frankl impressions and possible contribution of it to face the tragic triad, especially in the COVID 19 pandemic context. The results show that in front of situations of suffering, guilt and death, the human being has the ability to transform creatively the tragic aspects of the life in something useful. Furthermore, the transitory character of existence makes life endowed with importance and gains its meaning. It follows that facing the tragedies of life is necessary strong and responsible attitudes, looking for meaning despite the differences.

It follows that facing the tragedies of life is necessary strong and responsible attitudes, looking for meaning despite the differences.Este estudio teórico-bibliográfico pretende reflexionar sobre los conceptos de espiritualidad y optimismo trágico en el pensamiento de Viktor Frankl y su posible contribución a la tríada trágica, especialmente en el contexto de la pandemia del COVID-19. Los resultados indican que, frente a las situaciones de sufrimiento, culpa y muerte, el ser humano tiene la capacidad de transformar creativamente los aspectos trágicos de la vida en algo constructivo. Además, el carácter transitorio de la existencia hace que la vida sea dotada de importancia y adquiera su significado. Se concluye que ante las tragedias de la vida, son necesarias actitudes firmes y responsables, buscando sentido a pesar de las adversidades.Este estudo de natureza teórico-bibliográfico tem por objetivo refletir sobe os conceitos de espiritualidade e otimismo trágico no pensamento de Viktor Frankl e sua possível contribuição para o enfrentamento da tríade trágica, em especial no contexto pandêmico da COVID 19. Os resultados apontam que diante de situações de sofrimento, culpa e morte, o ser humano tem a capacidade de transformar de modo criativo os aspectos trágicos da vida em algo construtivo. Ademais, o caráter transitório da existência faz com que a vida seja dotada de importância e adquira seu sentido.
