THE POSSIBILE BASIS OF THE THIRD THOMASIC WAY AND ITS RELATION TO DIVINE ETERNITY

Resumo: Thomas, when elaborating his third way, starts from the existence of beings that suffer from dynamic generation and corruption, that is, of contingent beings; it passes through timeless beings, that is, unharmed by temporal passage; until obtaining the assertion of the existence of the necessary being by itself. This last inference is one of the arguments used by Thomas to assert that God is eternal. Thus, in the face of such assertions, first, it will be reflected on the possibility that time is the basis of the third thomasic way. Secondly, it will be investigated about a possible relationship of the mentioned Thomas test with the divine attribute of eternity

Esta última inferencia es uno de los argumentos que utiliza Tomás para afirmar que Dios es eterno. Así, ante tales afirmaciones, en primer lugar, se reflexionará sobre la posibilidad de que el tiempo sea la base de la tercera vía de tomás de aquino. En segundo lugar, investigaremos una posible relación entre la prueba de Thomas y el atributo divino de la eternidad.Tomás, ao elaborar a sua terceira via, parte da existência dos seres que sofrem a dinâmica da geração e corrupção, isto é, dos seres contingentes; perpassa pelos seres atemporais, ou seja, ilesos à passagem temporal; até obter a asserção da existência do ser necessário por si. Esta última inferência é um dos argumentos usados por Tomás para afirmar que Deus é eterno. Assim, perante tais asserções, primeiramente, será refletida sobre a possibilidade de o tempo ser a base da terceira via tomásica.
