Resumo: | Enrique Rojas, in his text entitled El hombre light (1992), presents the experience of the light man in postmodern culture. With the term light, the author associates the lightness of man within different areas: physical, social and psychological. However, this author considers this lightness in a negative way, stating that this light man lacks essence, since he has lost his references. This same dynamic is evident in the contemporary subject's relationship with religion. In our communication we highlight the link between the concept of light man proposed by Rojas and the religious experience in contemporary times. In order to reach our objective, we elucidate the concept of light man and then highlight the debate around religion in contemporary times, emphasizing the concept of religion à la carte which, for us, is a good reading key to establish the relationship between light man and the theme of religion. After clarifying the concepts, we came to the conclusion that the contemporary subject's way of dealing with religion is marked by the capitalist mode of production, so that religion becomes a kind of accessory to be used according to the subjects' interests. |

Con el término light, el autor asocia la ligereza del hombre con diferentes ámbitos: físico, social y psíquico. Sin embargo, este autor considera esta ligereza de forma negativa, afirmando que este hombre light carece de esencia, ya que ha perdido sus referentes. Esta misma dinámica es evidente en la relación del sujeto contemporáneo con la religión. En nuestra comunicación destacamos el vínculo entre el concepto de hombre luz propuesto por Rojas y la experiencia religiosa en la época contemporánea. Para alcanzar nuestro objetivo, dilucidamos el concepto de hombre luz y luego destacamos el debate en torno a la religión en la contemporaneidad, enfatizando el concepto de religión a la carte que, para nosotros, es una buena clave de lectura para establecer la relación entre el hombre de luz y el tema de la religión. Luego de aclarar los conceptos, llegamos a la conclusión de que la forma de enfrentar la religión del sujeto contemporáneo está marcada por el modo de producción capitalista, por lo que la religión se convierte en una especie de accesorio para ser utilizado de acuerdo con los intereses de los sujetos.Enrique Rojas, em seu texto intitulado El hombre light (1992), apresenta a vivência do homem light na cultura pós-moderna. Com o termo light, o autor associa a leveza do homem a diversos âmbitos: físico, social e psicológico. No entanto, este autor considera essa leveza de forma negativa, afirmando que esse homem light carece de essência, uma vez que, perdeu suas referências. Esta mesma dinâmica evidenciamos na relação do sujeito contemporâneo com a religião. Em nossa comunicação evidenciamos o vínculo entre o conceito de homem light proposto por Rojas e a vivência religiosa na contemporaneidade. Para atingirmos o nosso objetivo elucidamos o conceito de homem light e depois ressaltamos o debate em torno da religião na contemporaneidade enfatizando o conceito de religião à la carte que para nós é uma boa chave de leitura para estabelecer a relação entre o homem light com a temática da religião. Após elucidar os conceitos chegamos à conclusão de que o modo do sujeito contemporâneo lidar com a religião é marcado pelo modo de produção capitalista, de forma que a religião se torna uma espécie de acessório a ser utilizado de acordo com os interesses dos sujeitos.
