Resumo: [pt] O presente trabalho apresenta um programa de computador digital, que permite avaliar as sobre tensões à freqüência industrial decorrentes da energização de linhas de transmissão. São representados em detalhes o gerador e o seu sistema de excitação. Para uma mesma configuração gerador-excitação é possível simular-se a energização da linha para vários valores de carregamento do gerador e para diferentes valores iniciais de tensão. A utilização prática do programa desenvolvido afigura-se grande, pois pelo seu uso evita-se o emprego de um programa de estabilidade a n máquinas, que geralmente não é adaptado a este tipo de aplicação.

[en] This paper introduces a digital computer program that enables dynamic overvoltages evaluation during transmission line energization. Both synchronous machine and excitation system arefull scale represented. For a given machine-excitation configuration it is possible to simulate line energization for various machine loadings and different initial terminal voltages. The program has great practical advantage because its employ can avoid a multi-machine stability program utilization, which is not adequate for this kind of aplication.
