Resumo: | This text sets out the results of a study that examined the symbologies of afro-Brazilian religions, especially the Candomblé in “Tenda dos Milagres” miniseries, inspired by the work of Jorge Amado. The fragments of the chapters, the descriptions of the scenes and interviews with practitioners contextualize traditions and rituals that are part of the mythology of this strand, aiding the understanding of its representations in social space. |

Los fragmentos de los capítulos, las descripciones de las escenas y las entrevistas con practicantes, contextualizan las tradiciones y los rituales que integran la mitología de esta vertiente, auxiliando la comprensión de sus representaciones en el espacio social.Este texto expõe os resultados de uma pesquisa[1] que analisou as simbologias da religiosidade afro-brasileira, especialmente o candomblé, na minissérie Tenda dos Milagres, inspirada na obra de Jorge Amado. Os fragmentos dos capítulos, as descrições das cenas e as entrevistas com praticantes contextualizam tradições e rituais que integram a mitologia dessa vertente, auxiliando a compreensão de suas representações no espaço social. [1] Intitulada Os arquétipos místico-religiosos na ficção televisiva: o universo simbólico de Tenda dos Milagres, realizada pela linha de pesquisa Mídia e Estudos Culturais do Curso de Comunicação Social da UEPB com recursos do CNPQ e concluída no ano de 2012, que teve os seguintes objetivos: caracterizar o gênero ficcional como possível vetor da midiatização contemporânea do campo religioso; apontar diálogos entre os personagens que ilustram as situações de preconceito e os rituais do candomblé; Destacar as trilhas sonoras e os elementos imagéticos dos cenários, uma vez que estes auxiliam a compreensão dos simbolismos religiosos; Perceber, a partir de entrevistas com representantes e adeptos do candomblé, se ainda existe discriminação social pela sua opção religiosa; Verificar, junto aos pesquisados, se a mídia, para além do segmento da teledramaturgia, informa a sociedade sobre as religiões de matriz africana.
