Resumo: Analysis of some contemporary theories of image applied to the field of communication. Problematization of the analytical relationship adopted in the study of the images, evaluating the degree of interaction and autonomy of writing in counterpoint to the growing autonomy of the images in the current communication context. Approach of the interfaces and tensions between image and daily life present in the production and consumption of products of the entertainment industry focused on the representation of the banal and the small.
