Resumo: The aim of this article is to analyze images of secondary school students’ protests in the city of São Paulo, in order to understand how the enunciative and insurgent scene of the street shows us: (i) an excess of vulnerable and resistant bodies in circulation in urban space; (ii) an excess of possibilities of unplanned uses of these spaces; and (iii) an excess of words that, in the communicative and aesthetic materiality of handmaid posters, escapes from traditional media channels. To understand these aspects, we analyzed the images of the protests in the streets published in Folha de S. Paulo and O Estado de S. Paulo newspapers; to counter the traditional coverage of these communication vehicles, it was also decided to analyze the coverage made by Jornalistas Livres and El País Brasil. In order to analyze the images from a political and aesthetic point of view, we especially use the texts of Rancière (in dialogue with Foucault and Butler).

Para comprender estos aspectos, se analizaron las imágenes de los protestos en las calles vehiculadas en los periódicos Folha de S. Paulo y O Estado de S.
