Resumo: Starting from the bias of the field of study of materialities, our work reflects on how electronic communication technologies configure new forms of perception of reality and collective interaction. It is under this prism that, in studying MTV Brazil programs, we seek to find in their images, perceptions of the contemporary world derived from the central system of their young viewers with the new communication technologies, considering that the perceptions resulting from this coupling have vital importance for the configuration of the messages, directly interfering in the decisions of formatting of the programs by the transmitter.
