Resumo: The repetition is of a mass culture process. In a celebrated article, Walter Benjamin theorizes the question from Karl Marx's analysis of the capitalist mode of production. Reproduction, understood as dialectic, is the starting point for the construction of a materialist theory of art, where the notion of "aura" is approached. The theorist affirms that, with progress, the techniques for reproducing the artistic object improve in such a way as to almost dissolve the original image. The work, excluded from the sphere of the sacred and the aristocratic and religious atmosphere, ceases to be the object of worship and adoration to become mere manipulative and manipulative product. This implies the loss of its "aura" and the implicit revelation of social interference resulting from the close relationship between the technical transformations of society and changes in aesthetic perception.

Editora da PUCRS - ediPUCRS2008-04-10info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://revistaseletronicas.pucrs.br/ojs/index.php/revistafamecos/article/view/302010.15448/1980-3729.1998.9.3020Revista FAMECOS; Vol. 5 No. 9 (1998); 144-149Revista FAMECOS; Vol. 5 Núm. 9 (1998); 144-149Revista FAMECOS; v. 5 n. 9 (1998); 144-1491980-37291415-054910.15448/1980-3729.1998.9reponame:Revista FAMECOS: Mídia cultura e tecnologiainstname:Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS)instacron:PUC_RSporhttps://revistaseletronicas.pucrs.br/ojs/index.php/revistafamecos/article/view/3020/2298Pibernat Antonini, Elianainfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2017-05-28T20:30:00Zoai:ojs.revistaseletronicas.pucrs.br:article/3020Revistahttps://revistaseletronicas.pucrs.br/ojs/index.php/revistafamecosPRIhttps://revistaseletronicas.pucrs.br/ojs/index.php/revistafamecos/oai||revistafamecos@gmail.com1980-37291980-3729opendoar:2017-05-28T20:30Revista FAMECOS: Mídia cultura e tecnologia - Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS)false
