Resumo: Review of the book Technodiversity (2020), by Yuk Hui. The work presents the concepts of technodiversity and cosmotechnics that forge ways out of the simultaneously ecological, political and social crisis crystallized today. From them, technology as a universal idea is rejected. The aim is to reveal that no technology is neutral, but intrinsically political, since it carries with it epistemological and ontological assumptions that submit its users. Ultimately, the decolonial critique aims to foster locally the investigation of a wide range of technologies that were being withdrawn from circulation by the universalization of technique, unilaterally imposed by the West on a large number of territories with modernity and globalization. Yuk Hui offers modern technologies a new philosophical framework, which sees in diversity a plural, inclusive and diverse future.

Una obra que presenta conceptos de tecnodiversidad y cosmotécnica que forjan soluciones a la crisis que son simultáneamente ecológicas, políticas y sociales cristalizadas en la actualidad. De ellos, se rechazó una tecnologia como una ideia universal. El objetivo es revelar que ninguna tecnología es neutra, sino intrínsecamente política, ya que lleva consigo supuestos epistemológicos y ontológicos que someten a sus usuarios. En definitiva, una crítica a la visión decolonial propicia localmente una investigación de una amplia gama de tecnologías, que han sido retiradas de circulación por la universalización de la técnica, impuesta unilateralmente por Occidente en un gran número de territorios con la modernidad y la globalización. Yuk Hui ofrece a las tecnologías modernas un nuevo marco filosófico, que ve en la diversidad un futuro plural, inclusivo y diverso.Resenha do livro Tecnodiversidade (2020), de Yuk Hui. A obra apresenta os conceitos de tecnodiversidade e cosmotécnica que forjam saídas para a crise simultaneamente ecológica, política e social cristalizada hoje. A partir deles, a tecnologia como uma ideia universal é rejeitada. O intuito é desvelar que nenhuma tecnologia é neutra, mas sim intrinsicamente política, já que carrega consigo pressupostos epistemológicos e ontológicos que submete seus usuários. Em última instância, a crítica decolonial visa fomentar localmente a investigação de uma gama variada de tecnologias, que foram sendo retiradas de circulação pela universalização da técnica, imposta unilateralmente pelo Ocidente há um grande número de territórios com a modernidade e a globalização.
