The encounter with memory and the glimpse of identities: The interview in journalism

Resumo: The article analyzes theoretical and disciplinary contributions from research in the field of communication interested in the topic of journalistic interviews. Twenty-three articles presented at the Encontro Nacional de Pesquisadores em Jornalismo – SBPJor, between 2005 and 2019, were observed, in search of the authors and concepts most recurrently triggered in the debates about the interview. As identified earlier in the research, which analyzed articles from Intercom, the following axes of approach were found: discourse, interaction/typologies, memory/identity. Here, we chose to take a closer look at debates and authors related to memory studies, with emphasis on Maurice Halbwachs (1990), Paul Thompson (2002), José Carlos Sebe Bom Meihy (2002), Verena Alberti (2005) and Beatriz Sarlo (2007), all referenced in more than one survey. The article advances in the reflection on the possible interfaces between studies interested in memory and identity issues, areas considered independent by some and inseparable by others. It also discusses the place of debates on memory and identity in the contemporary world.

Se observaron veintitrés artículos presentados en el Encontro Nacional de Pesquisadores em Jornalismo - SBPJor, entre 2005 y 2019, en busca de los autores y conceptos más recurrentes desencadenados en los debates sobre la entrevista. Como se identificó en un momento previo de la investigación, que analizó artículos de Intercom, se encontraron los siguientes ejes de abordaje: discurso, interacción / tipologías, memoria / identidad.Aquí, optamos por profundizar en los debates y autores relacionados con los estudios de la memoria, con énfasis en Maurice Halbwachs (1990), Paul Thompson (2002), José Carlos Sebe Bom Meihy (2002), Verena Alberti (2005) y Beatriz Sarlo (2007), todos referenciados en más de una investigación científica. El artículo avanza en la reflexión sobre las posibles interfaces entre estudios interesados en temas de memoria e identidad, áreas consideradas independientes por unos e inseparables por otros. También analiza el lugar de los debates sobre la memoria y la identidad en el mundo contemporáneo.O artigo analisa aportes teórico-disciplinares de pesquisas do campo da comunicação interessadas no tema da entrevista jornalística. Foram observados 23 artigos apresentados no Encontro Nacional de Pesquisadores em Jornalismo – SBPJor, entre 2005 e 2019, em busca dos autores e conceitos mais recorrentemente acionados nos debates sobre a entrevista. Assim como identificado em momento anterior da pesquisa, que analisou artigos da Intercom, foram localizados os seguintes eixos de abordagem: discurso, interação/tipologias, memória/identidade. Aqui, escolhemos observar mais de perto os debates e autores relacionados aos estudos da memória, com destaque para Maurice Halbwachs (1990), Paul Thompson (2002), José Carlos Sebe Bom Meihy (2002), Verena Alberti (2005) e Beatriz Sarlo (2007), todos referenciados em mais de uma pesquisa. O artigo avança na reflexão sobre as possíveis interfaces entre os estudos interessados na memória e as questões identitárias, âmbitos considerados independentes por alguns e indissociáveis, por outros.
