Resumo: This article, based upon a speech delivered in Buenos Aires in September 2000, during an Interamerican Public Relations Meeting of Students, Teachers and Professionals, deals with the utopic nature of PR activities, as confirmed also by the words of other authors on the subject. Paraphrasing Thomas Morus, the author points out that the practice of PR has to be carried out here and now, in the best possible way, rather than in the virtual, optimal future

Nele se discute a utopia da atividade de Relações Públicas e também a propria atividade como uma utopia.
