Resumo: The introduction of French ideas in the fi eld of human sciences in Brazil creates a new epystemological plateau, complex as well as able to reunite scientifi c and humanistic culture again. Today, French points of view are responsible for the criticism of old concepts, absolute truths, and ortodox paradigms.
