Resumo: The present article presents reflections about art as a form of expression of social worker’s raw data to the extent that the subjects use different manners to express the refractions of social issue in their lives, among them the artistic productions that characterize their contexts and historical time. Concurrently, it seeks to make visible the use of art as a pedagogic tool, from which reflexive social processes could be mediated, contributing to organized and educational actions that characterize and emancipatory social intervention. Pedagogic Strategies.O presente artigo aporta reflexões sobre a arte como forma de expressão da matéria- prima do trabalho do assistente social, na medida em que os sujeitos utilizam diferentes maneiras para exprimir as refrações da questão social nas suas vidas, entre as quais as produções artísticas que caracterizam seus contextos e tempos históricos. Concomitantemente, busca dar visibilidade ao uso da arte como instrumento pedagógico, a partir do qual processos sociais reflexivos podem ser mediados, contribuindo para ações organizativas e educativas que caracterizam uma intervenção social emancipatória, ou junto aos sujeitos usuários dos serviços sociais ou profissionais em formação. Traz exemplos do uso da arte como instrumento pedagógico a partir de experiências profissionais na área da formação de pesquisadores, ensino em Serviço Social e processos de assessoria e supervisão.
