Knowledge and Doing: the making of a health

Resumo: The emergence of New Information and Communication Technologies (NICT) demands answers from health care professionals, taking into account the considerable transformations experienced by society. This context is discussed here as one of the scenarios of human needs. The study “Human Resources Network of SES at Specialization, M. Sc. and Ph. D. levels”, coordinated by the social service of ESP, aims at discussing some aspects of this reality in virtual networks. In order to to so, it brings about some aspects of the history of health care in Brazil, and links them to the evolution of knowledge technologies. We highlight the perspectives perceived until today under this strategy of action and consideration on health care. Key words – Social Service and research on health care. Professionals. Contemporary world and knowledge.

Contemporary world and knowledge.A emergência das Novas Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação (NTIC) impõe respostas dos profissionais da saúde que contemplem as transformações substanciais vividas pela sociedade. Esse contexto é abordado, aqui, como um dos cenários das necessidades humanas. A pesquisa “Rede de Recursos Humanos da SES em Nível de Especialização, Mestrado e Doutorado”, coordenada pelo Serviço Social na ESP, tem como objetivo anunciar alguns aspectos dessa realidade em redes virtuais. Para tanto, resgata alguns aspectos da história da saúde no Brasil, encadeando a evolução das tecnologias do conhecimento. Ao final, salienta as perspectivas vislumbradas até o momento, com esta estratégia de ação e reflexão sobre a saúde. Palavras-chave – Serviço Social e pesquisa na saúde. Campo profissional.
