Resumo: The society contemporary has been marked for the historical movement that brings the possibility of expression human being transforming everything around, the customs and the resources for the life of today are not equaled to the ones of the last half of century that passed. In the same way the numbers nonsense’s that show the social exclusion daily denounce a society of citizens excluded and damaged in a time of glorious technological and comunicacionais advances. In perspective dialectic it is possible to perceive with bigger precision the contradictions of a time still marked by the importance of the category work. This article intends to place in evidence the explanation of the categories of apprehension of the Real in the perspective of the dialectic method in the relation with the society contemporary and the instrument tool of the social service. Methodology and instrument tool of the Social Service.A sociedade contemporânea tem sido marcada pelo movimento histórico que traz a possibilidade de expressão humana, transformando tudo ao seu redor; os costumes e os recursos para a vida de hoje não se igualam aos da última metade de século que passou. Da mesma forma, os números absurdos que pontuam a exclusão social denunciam uma sociedade de sujeitos excluídos e maltratados cotidianamente em um tempo de gloriosos avanços tecnológicos e comunicacionais. Em uma perspectiva dialética, é possível perceber com maior precisão as contradições de um tempo ainda marcado pela centralidade da categoria trabalho. Este artigo pretende colocar em evidência a explicitação das categorias de apreensão do real na perspectiva do método dialético na relação com a sociedade contemporânea e com a instrumentalidade do Serviço Social.
