Resumo: In this paper, we analyze the novels Aparição and, more briefly, Alegria breve by Vergílio Ferreira, a portuguese writer. In this analysis, we highlight the way the narrator of the novel works the theme of epiphany. This theme is one of the major philosophical movement called existentialism.
