Resumo: This essay analyzes the book The Predators Apocalipse (PA), by the Mozambican writer Adelino Timóteo, in a perspective that crosses literature and other knowledge from a deconstructionist approach. For a better understanding of the contribution of different areas of the literature, some elements of the History and Anthropology of Mozambique are presented in order to the apprehend the socio-political and anthropological representations through the stories in PA. The text includes the following sections: a brief introduction, the biography of the author, and a book review of the literary genre of PA; a historical and cultural characterization of Mozambique in colonial and postcolonial periods and the interpretation of the book, based on the external elements of literature.

Para melhor se compreender o contributo que pode ser trazido por essas áreas diferentes da literatura, apresentam-se alguns elementos da História e da Antropologia de Moçambique, que permitem a apreensão de representações sócio-políticas e antropológicas nas estórias em AP.
