Resumo: The present work aims to investigate the reconstruction of identity and memory of an aphrodiasporic collective through the narrative Becos da Memória, by Conceição Evaristo. Narratives that constitute themselves by black experiences in diaspora raise concepts of subjectivities that deconstruct a hegemonic and dominant narrative. Through this work, there is a possibility to explore life experiences of these subordinate individuals which claim for their voices to be heard and their narratives to be modified by the awareness of their reality. Therefore, exploring the different stories of characters is to see the significant and painful role of the diaspora in the conception of these fictional individuals.

Por meio dessa obra, há a possibilidade de explorar as vivências desses sujeitos subalternos que clamam para que suas vozes sejam escutadas e suas narrativas modificadas a partir da consciência de sua realidade.
