Public policy and reinforcement of identities in the work relations

Resumo: | The aim of this work is to investigate the relations among the following categories in the work environment: social inclusion, citizenship and identity. In order to reflect on social inclusion, we present the exclusion patterns found in the work environment, and we theoretically demonstrate how an inclusion opportunity takes place through the affirmative action of these groups: women, afro-descendents and those undermined by age or physical disabilities. Through the reinforcement of the identities of these people, starting from an initiative of the civil society, these groups can raise their issues, concerning their working life, to the public, Estate and other non-governmental institutions. Thus, we demonstrate the joining of civil action and identity in the pursuit of better life and work standards and the new relations which result from that, leading to a distinguished citizenship. Key words: Social inclusion; Citizenship; Identity; Work relations.O objetivo deste trabalho é discutir a relação entre as categorias de inclusão social, cidadania e identidade nas relações de trabalho. Para refletir a categoria de inclusão, apresentamos as formas de exclusão presentes no mundo do trabalho, e demonstramos em termos teóricos que uma via de inclusão passa pela afirmação de identidade de mulheres, dos negros, daqueles que sofrem discriminação etária e dos portadores de necessidades especiais. Com a afirmação de suas identidades, a partir de organizações oriundas da sociedade civil, esses grupos podem levar ao debate público e a instâncias deliberativas do Estado e a outras agências de caráter público não-estatal, as demandas que possuem quanto às relações de trabalho. Assim, demonstramos a junção entre atuação cidadã e identidade na luta pela melhoria das condições de vida no mercado de trabalho e novas relações daí resultantes, que implicam em cidadania diferenciada.
