Resumo: This work objective to present an interpretation of the American Eternal Policy in the George W. Bush period, enlightening the comprehension of the steps that can the given in his second mandate. For such focus, it is realized an incursion in the previous mandates, explaining how a policy direction was being organizing inside the north-American government, presented a certain relevance in the republican Reagan and Father-Bush periods, lost influence in Clinton period, but could reorganize, articulating the ascension that culminate with the influence that had in the first mandate of son-Bush. It is pretended, this way, to seek for ideological roots of the External North-American Policy. Key words: External American policy; George W. Bush; Neoconservadorism; Government; Clinton.

Bush, lançando luz à compreensão dos passos que podem ser dados no seu segundo mandato. Para tanto, realiza-se uma incursão nos mandatos anteriores, explicando como uma direção política foi se organizando dentro do governo norte-americano, apresentou uma certa relevância nos períodos republicanos de Reagan e Bush Pai, perdeu influência no período Clinton, mas conseguiu se reordenar e reaparelhar, articulando sua ascensão que culminou com a influência que teve primeiro mandado de Bush Filho. Pretendese, dessa forma, buscar as raízes ideológicas da Política Externa norte-americana recente, o que nos permite formular questões pertinentes comportamentos presentes e tendências para o futuro breve.
