Resumo: The objective was to analyze how the dissertations of a teaching institution in Ceará address the ethical questions in the research. A quantitative study was carried out with 104 dissertations, considering the presence of ethical care in the abstract; the presence of a section on the ethical aspects of research; the presence of an Informed Consent Form; and approval by a Research Ethics Committee. The non-parametric statistical analysis was performed using the Kruskal-Wallis test, with significance level of 0.05, using SigmaStat 3.5 software. The data revealed that most of the dissertations do not fully comply with CNS Resolution 466/2012, despite that they make ethical references throughout the work. There were no statistically significant differences (p> 0.05) in relation to the categories of analysis, as a function of the year of defense.

Para ello, se realizó un estudio cuantitativo con 104 trabajos sobre los aspectos éticos de la investigación; la presencia del Formulario de Consentimiento Informado y la aprobación por un Comité de Ética en Investigación. Para el análisis de los datos se realizó un análisis estadístico no paramétrico a través de la prueba de Kruskal-Wallis con un nivel de significación del 0,05. Se usó el software SigmaStat 3.5. Los datos revelan que la mayoría de los trabajos no responden en su totalidad a la Resolución CNS nº 466/2012. No obstante, se hacen referencias éticas a lo largo del trabajo. Del mismo modo, no hay diferencias estadísticamente significativas (p>0,05) en relación con las categorías de análisis, en función del año de defensa.Objetivou-se analisar como as dissertações de uma instituição de ensino cearense abordam as questões éticas na pesquisa. Realizou-se um estudo quantitativo com 104 dissertações, considerando a presença de cuidados éticos no resumo; a presença de seção sobre os aspectos éticos da pesquisa; a presença de Termo de Consentimento Livre e Esclarecido; e a aprovação por um Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa. Realizou-se análise estatística não-paramétrica por meio do teste de Kruskal-Wallis, com nível de significância de 5%, mediante utilização do software SigmaStat 3.5. Os dados revelaram que a maioria das dissertações não atendem na íntegra a Resolução CNS nº 466/2012, apesar disso fazem referências éticas ao longo do trabalho.
