Resumo: Aphasia is a language disorder that is caused by lesions of the central nervous system by Stroke (AVEs) Skull and Brain Injuries, which compromises the ability of speaking, writing and comprehension. The deixis is a figure of speech, used as a way to show, indicate, in demonstrative function. This research deals with a qualitative, observational, cross-sectional, descriptive, interpretive. This study raises the occurrence and analyzes the processes deictic referencing in this discourse Group Coexistence of Aphasic (GCA), identifying, sorting and checking processes deictics. We used transcripts of the weekly meetings of a support group, from August 2011 to July 2012. The data were analyzed in light of the assumptions of socio-cognitive interactionism.

The data were analyzed in light of the assumptions of socio-cognitive interactionism.A afasia é um distúrbio da linguagem decorrente de sequela de lesões do Sistema Nervoso Central por acidentes vasculo encefálicos (AVEs) e/ou traumatismos crânio encefálicos, que acometem o domínio da fala, escrita e/ou compreensão. A dêixis é uma figura de linguagem, utilizada como forma de mostrar, indicar, na função demonstrativa. Este estudo levanta a ocorrência e analisa os processos dêiticos de referenciação presentes no discurso do Grupo de Convivência de Afásicos (GCA), identificando, classificando e verificando os processos dêiticos. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, observacional, transversal, descritiva, interpretativa. Utilizaram-se as transcrições dos encontros semanais de um grupo de convivência, no período de agosto de 2011 a julho de 2012.
