Resumo: In the present work, there is a concern to address a very peculiar characteristic of contemporary literary texts: a narrative motivated by memory. This mechanism works, in the tales A velha da sacola and Uma fantasia para Sofia - both present in the collection Fissuras (2018), by Henriette Effenberger –, as a reminder of problems related to patriarchy, with the consequence of a break in the hegemonic construction of female roles by protagonists. To support our discussion, we used, primarily, the books Tempo passado: cultura da memória e guinada subjetiva (2007), by Beatriz Sarlo, and Memória e identidade (2012), by Joël Candau, as well as other theoretical reflections related to the subject.

Tal mecanismo funciona, en los cuentos “A velha da sacola” y “Uma fantasia para Sofia” – presentes en la antología Fissuras (2018), de Henriette Effenberger –, como recuerdo de los problemas relacionados con el patriarcado, y también presentando como consecuencia la ruptura de la construcción hegemónica de los papeles femeninos ejercidos por las protagonistas. Para sustentar nuestra discusión, utilizamos fundamentalmente los libros Tempo passado: cultura da memória e guinada subjetiva (2007), de Beatriz Sarlo, y Memória e identidade (2012), de Joël Candau, así como otras reflexiones teóricas acerca del tema.No presente trabalho, existe a preocupação de abordar uma característica bastante peculiar de determinados textos literários contemporâneos: a narrativa motivada pela memória. Tal mecanismo funciona, nos contos A velha da sacola e Uma fantasia para Sofia – ambos presentes na coletânea Fissuras (2018), de Henriette Effenberger –, como a rememoração de problemas relacionados ao patriarcado, tendo como consequência a quebra da construção hegemônica dos papeis femininos exercidos pelas protagonistas.
