Resumo: The political and institutional organization of Mendoza as sovereign province came from the first decades of the nineteenth century with the so called provincial autonomy process. The provincial state of Mendoza organized their respective powers based on the Spanish model legislation that provided both institutional and regulatory guidelines which were foreshadowed by the geographical, political and administrative center of the Province.

El estado provincial de Mendoza organizó sus respectivos poderes en base al modelo de la legislación hispana que, a la vez aportó los lineamientos institucionales y normativos mediante los cuales quedaron prefigurados el ámbito geográfico, político y administrativo del estado provincial. A organização política e institucional de Mendoza como província soberana começou nas primeiras décadas do século XIX, com o denominado processo de autonomias provinciais.
