Resumo: The purpose of this paper is to study how the Chilean conservative political right builds its anticommunist discourse between 1941 and 1948, using the political strategy of fear to perform two actions: a) identify the threat of international communism for the welfare of the nation; b) explain the dangers of communism to actions of the Chilean social integrity. This defines their ideas and practices to legitimize their political exclusion of communism.

Con ello definesus ideas y legitima sus prácticas orientadas a la exclusión política del comunismo.O objetivo do trabalho é estudar a forma como a direita política conservadora chilena constrói seu discurso anticomunista entre 1941 e 1948, utilizando a estratégia política do medo para realizar duas ações: a) identificar a ameaça do comunismo internacional para o bem-estar da nação; b) explicar o perigo das ações do comunismo chileno para a integridade social.
