Resumo: After World War II, the Argentina developed large endeavors in the area of energy and the construction of pipelines. To meet this demand, a traditional company, SIAM Di Tella, addressed the production of seamless pipes in 1948. However, the new company would not be very successful during the years of Peronism, as a result of the shortcomings that were presented at the machine for the manufacture of large diameter pipes, which forced them to diversify their production.

Para satisfacer esta demanda, una tradicional empresa argentina, SIAM Di Tella, comenzó en 1948 la fabricación de tubos sin costura. Sin embargo, la nueva empresa no sería un gran éxito en los años del peronismo, como consecuencia de las deficiencias que aparecieron en la operación de la máquina diseñada para la fabricación de tubos de gran diámetro, lo que la obligó a diversificar su producción.Depois da Segunda Guerra Mundial, o Estado argentino desenvolveu uma série de grandes emprendimentos na área de energia, e a construção de oleodutos e gasodutos. Para fazer frente a essa demanda, uma tradicional empresa argentina, SIAM Di Tella, iniciou a fabricação de tubos sem costura, em 1948.
